Should I get laser hair removal if no hair is there? This is a question lots of people have asked us at Laser it. We’ve had people want to prevent hair growth by zapping it with a laser.
This is a big no no.
Why you shouldn’t get lasered if there is no hair there.
Laser hair removal works by being attracted to the pigment in the hair follicle. If there is no hair currently there, the laser is being wasted, since it won’t have any pigment to be drawn to.
However, the more important issue is hair growth. If used incorrectly, lasers can actually stimulate hair growth. This is why a Laser it we will NEVER administer laser hair removal on an area that simply doesn’t need it.
We pride ourselves on fantastic results.
Laser hair removal may be a long journey, but when carried out correctly and fantastic results are seen, it is worth it. We love seeing these results at Laser it and when paired with our friendly team & medical grade machines, we are sure you will happy with our laser hair removal clinics.
