Laser Hair Removal – How Long Does It Take?

Laser hair removal offers a longer lasting solution to hair removal when a full course is carried out in the correct timeframes. However, how long does laser hair removal take?

Each section of the body produces hair that grows at different rates, and that is why it is so important to ensure a consultation is carried out. You can book your Laser it consultation here.

During your consultation, your laser hair removal hair therapist will take a look at your hair and hair follicles and then map out your laser hair removal journey.

From Client to Client

Some clients may only need 6 sessions. Some clients, on the other hand, may need 8 or more sessions. Of course for these clients, additional time is needed.

What The Laser Hair Removal Therapist Will Look At

During your consultation, your laser hair therapist will analyse your skin type. Looking at your skin type is important during your laser hair removal session to ensure that the laser machine is adjusted to suit you.

Your laser hair removal therapist will also look at the colour of your hair where you are having laser hair removal.

With these in mind, your laser hair removal package can be designed for you.

Timeframe of Laser Hair Removal

With the above in mind, your laser hair removal therapist can give you a rough timeframe of how long your course of treatments will take.

Some areas could be treated with a gap of 2-3 weeks. Other areas will be treated with a gap of 3+ weeks. If your gap is 4 weeks, you’d be looking at a total treatment time of around 6 months. However, this is only a rough guideline, and at Laser it, we highly recommend planning this out at your consultation appointment. No two clients are the same, laser hair removal works at its absolute best when the package is tailored to suit your needs.

More Permanent Results

Although laser hair removal courses may seem like they take a long time, we urge you to remember that once the course is completed, the results are longer lasting than any other hair removal method. That means you can stop waxing, shaving, and sugaring, and start using your time to do other things.
